On December 21, 1996, the Cheshire High School Marching Ram Band was selected
to participate in the 53rd Presidential Inaugural Parade, "An American
Journey - A Bridge to the 21st Century." With only three weeks to prepare
for this "Journey", the band rehearsed music and marching daily
in order to represent the Town of Cheshire and the State of Connecticut
with pride. Many supporters came to the aid of the "Ram Band"
to help them meet the challenge; a challenge which would pave the way to
future accomplishments.
