Dear all,

What a great show on Saturday and congratulations to the Ram Band for taking 3rd in New England States and 2nd in the State of Connecticut!!!! What a great accomplishment for our kids as a new Class V. Go Ram Band!!!

Here we are – the week of Nationals. The weeks have gone by fast!  I want to thank each of you for all of the support, time, and efforts this season. You truly have been an amazing team!! I’ve enjoyed getting to know you and hope to get to know more of you! Every helping hand, no matter how frequently it’s offered, has made this season a success. I know that we are all proud of the accomplishments of our band!

I’m keeping this week’s updates short and focused on Nationals. Later today or tomorrow I will send out an update on our scheduled performance time in NJ. I will continue to communicate each day on any changes, reminders, and to answer any questions that are coming in.

On Saturday I sent out a detailed email regarding all things Nationals. Here is a summary:

1. Spectator Bus tickets are $30 each, first come first serve basis (all welcome to take spectator bus – we have 55 seats), chaperones, quartermasters and pit crew need not purchase a ticket and can ride with the band.  I’ve already communicated with all of you.

2. Tickets to the show are $30 each, for everyone except the pit and truck crew (who will receive credentials from me this week from USBands).

3. Tickets for tailgate are $5 each for two meats, fries and a water

4. Band members must purchase a ticket(s) for tailgate. Tailgate options: Steak sandwich, chicken tenders, hotdog (2 of any one item or 1 of any two)

Please order any and all tickets through the online order form and calculate the amount you owe.

We will tally the orders and put together an envelope for each band member/family with the bus, show, and tailgate tickets as ordered. We will be ready to accept payment in person at pick-up from rehearsal on Thursday November 5. You may pay via check, payable to “CHSBPA” or cash. Please send in the payment with your band member or stop by and say hi to us!  We will also have the envelopes on Friday after rehearsal and Saturday before we leave.

Please complete the online survey as soon as possible so that we have time to order the supplies, compile the ticket packs, and be ready to get these to you.

Thank you.  Go Ramband!
