13-Mar-19: Cheshire Train Show is March 24th, less than two weeks away!

posted Mar 23, 2019, 6:14 AM by Mark Nowicki

Dear Band Parents and Students:

Cheshire Train Show is March 24th, less than two weeks away!

Our show promoter, Mr. Kotulski, has already lined up three full rooms of vendors again for this show, and more keep calling him, and me.  The Cheshire Train Show is a huge deal for us – Cheshire is on the map with all the avid Model Railroaders, the premier show in and around Connecticut.  They love our hospitality, we love them, and they keep coming back for more.  We need to be ready!

Thank you to the parents who have signed up, but we are still short of volunteers.  For students, the sign-up sheets are posted in the Band Room.  Please come help for a few hours or donate supplies.

Listed below are the parent areas where we still need help.  Critical tasks are the Saturday Set Up and Sunday Break Down for just a couple hours each, but all the tasks during the show are important as well.  Please sign up here!  If you need help signing up, please call or text me at 203-572-2254.

BAKERS:  THANK YOU to those who have signed up to bring in donated baked goods.  We need much more to sell.  Please sign up and then consult these baking guidelines.

Working together we expect to clear about $6,000 or so on this fundraiser which will help defray the cost of the two Winter Programs this season and Marching Band next season.  Thank you for your support.

Go Ram Band!

Regards,

Mark Nowicki
