11-Aug-16: Required Forms for 2016-17

Greetings CHSMRB Students and Parents,

 

We are looking forward to seeing all of you on Monday, August 15, 12:00 p.m. at the CHS Band Room for our Pre-Season Kick-Off of the 2016 CHSMRB!

 

Please remember to wear comfortable clothes, laced sneakers/tennis shoes, and a cap.  Also remember to bring a medium sized water jug w/ your name on it, bug spray, sunscreen, and food for dinner (break from 5:00 - 5:45 p.m.).  Also, make sure to bring your instrument, mouthpiece, reeds, etc.,, pencil, and a looseleaf binder for your music as well as to take down some notes.

 

Finally, please take a moment to read the following message from Ms. Laura Vuolo Hendry, CHSBPA President, regarding important forms which need to be completed and submitted on Monday, August 15.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, I want to welcome you to the Band Parents’ Association (BPA). We are excited to be starting the Marching Band Season and looking forward to working with all of you for a successful year! Ram Pride!!

 

I’d first like to invite all parents to attend the BPA President’s Mock Tail Party at 6pm-8pm, Thursday August 25th at the Cheshire High School Commons. We will serve refreshments, take the opportunity to meet one another, and talk briefly about what the BPA does. I look forward to seeing you on that date!

 

Reminder: the Student Picnic will be Friday August 26, 2016 from 12-3 at the Bartlem Park Community Pool. A permission form included in the attachment is required to attend the picnic. More details of the picnic will be shared with your student during band camp.

 

FORMS required for the season

Yes, we need forms! There are a number of forms to complete and return for marching band season.  Most of the forms are attached in this email and all of the forms are available on our website here:  http://www.ramband.com/band-parents-association/forms

 

We will have a team of parents available during band camp  at drop off and pick up to collect forms, answer questions and to provide copies of any forms if you are not able to print them from home.  

 

Form return options

  1. Place all forms in an envelope labeled with your student’s name in the Lock Box in the hallway of the new band room at CHS

  2. Mail the forms to the CHS BPA at our PO Box 463, Cheshire CT 06410

  3. Visit with a parent at CHS in the band hallway during one of the times below to ask questions and turn in forms:
