Greetings:

Our Train Show Chairman Maura Murcko and the BPA would like to thank those of you who have signed up to support our Train Show fundraiser this weekend.  The sign-up is filling up nicely, but we could still use a few more hands, particularly with Food Prep on Saturday evening, as Kitchen Servers and Cashiers, and for the Sunday Clean-up crew.  We will have the Easter Bunny hopping around as well, and he (she?) could use a helpful guide.

The students have also signed up very well – thanks for volunteering.  Students can get Community Service hours signed off… they should see Sue DeLancy for that during the show on Sunday.

Also from Sue, we make very good revenue from the Bake Sale that we hold in the CHS foyer, but as usual, we need baked goods to sell.  We ran out of everything at the last train show!  Brownies and cookies, especially chocolate chip, are HUGE sellers.  Preferably no frosting… cupcakes are not the best sellers.  Everything should be packaged individually in baggies, 3 small cookies or 2 large cookies, sold for $1.00 each.  Muffins are great for the mornings and have sold well.  Breads sell well… banana bread, lemon bread, pumpkin bread, for example.  Please bring these items in and find Sue DeLancy in the morning on Sunday.

We also need dollies… please loan them to us for the day to make it easier on the vendors for moving their wares in and out of the school!

Lastly, please spread the word so we can get more people to attend.  You can print a flyer from the ramband.com Home page.  If you’ve never attended a train show, click this link to get a look at some of the displays from the 2015 Spring Train Show:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dk2joaQokoM

See you Sunday!

Regards,

Mark
